I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (PYL 16045). I am also the founder and managing director of Key Psychology Services which offers a range of services based on my wide ranging experience with clients. I am an integrative Psychologist and base my treatment plans on a detailed initial assessment of your presenting problems. I aim to help individuals make changes, and focus on goal setting and positive psychological approaches. My treatment programmes are informed by current research from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness, narrative and systemic theory and practice. As well as talking therapy, I use movement where suitable to help manage bodily symptoms of stress, anxiety and trauma, as well as help with focus, concentration and attention. I also undertake neuropsychological assessments on request. I am regularly involved in continuing professional development and current practices.
After qualifying in 2000 from the University of Glasgow, I worked initially in Health and Neuropsychology at the West London Mental Health Trust (2001-2004). I then worked as a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist and Lead in Sussex Partnership NHS mental health services including the community drug and alcohol services and eating disorders teams (2004–2014). I also started working in private practice in 2005 at the London Clinic, Harley St in Health Psychology. My next role was Head of Psychological Services at Axa Health services, managing clinical risk and trauma (2014–2016), before the launch of Key Psychology Services in 2016.
