With a myriad of different therapies available these days it can be difficult to know just where to begin. Where does hypnosis fit into the picture?
Within my Clinical Hypnotherapy I draw on various schools of psychotherapy depending upon your individual circumstance and requirements. Hypnosis is known to improve the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for example and sits naturally within the ethos of Positive Psychology. My way of working looks to engage the wealth of resources you already have within yourself, resources which you may or may not be aware of. Sometimes we can be oblivious to the value of what we have.
Sometimes things are hidden from us in our unconscious mindstore. Here too solutions are often uncovered, this is after all the realm of dreams, creativity and imagination. A problem, by definition, can only exist in relation to a solution, so there is always the possibility for change.
I work mostly with anxiety, which comes in many guises; fears, phobias, limitations, panic, ill health, things that impede or limit our quality of life. If you have any questions about hypnosis or its suitability for your particular circumstance, or to book an appointment, please call, text or email. Curiosity is the best starting point.
I hold Post Graduate Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis in conjunction with the University of West London and am a recognised Master of Conversational Hypnosis by the American Hypnosis Training Academy. I am an Associate Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis abiding by their codes of ethics and confidentiality.
