Dr Nadia Kheirabi is Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Counselling Psychologist, with extensive experience of providing psychological therapy in the UK National Health Service (NHS), schools, universities, and charitable organisations throughout Scotland. She holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and an MSc in psychological studies. She works individually with adults, adolescents and children from diverse walks of life. Nadia also provides couple and family therapy.
Nadia supports her clients through various difficulties including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, body image issues and disordered eating, perfectionism, addictions, anger and aggression. She also helps people to cope with life challenges such as relationship problems and separations, bereavement, bullying, problems at work, low self-esteem, stress, and the effects of abuse.
Nadia’s therapy emphasises a warm, supportive and non-judgemental approach to her clients. Her aim is to help each client to understand how their difficulties have arisen and how they would like things to change. From there an individualised treatment plan takes shape. Nadia works flexibly with her clients to find what works for them, and to apply what they learn in therapy to their real lives.
