Pluralistic Counsellor
My belief is we all possess self-healing capacities that allow us to change, thrive and grow. However, life happens and, when problems of living get in the way, seeking professional support can help us move forward. However, as someone not immune from their own problems of living over their lifetime, I am aware how important it is to find “the right” therapist for you; someone you feel safe with, accepted, and understood.
As a pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist, I believe there is no right way to do therapy. My approach is client-centred, goal focused, collaborative and utilizes evidence-based therapeutic methods from different psychotherapeutic approaches. And the wealth of ideas and cultural resources both client and therapist bring into therapeutic relationships.
My qualifications include an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling from Abertay University and am professionally registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
