CBT Psychotherapist
Making the decision to come to counselling is a big step and you need to feel safe and comfortable before working through the difficulties that you are experiencing. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and collaborative environment. I have found that working together, it's possible to make sense of the 'why' and importantly to explore new ways to move out of the painful situation that you find yourself.
Although qualified in CBT, I offer an open approach, drawing on a wide variety of training and experience to best suit each individual. My aim is to help increase self-awareness through exploring how our thoughts and feeling affect the way we behave. I will work with mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy to explore new ways of being and to find purpose and meaning from the difficulties that you have experienced.
My practice will be challenging and I am a strong believer that the only way out is through. But, through collaboration, it is possible to find the courage to go to the darkest places and to draw a strength and meaning from your experience.
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) Therapist and a Registered member of BACP. I am fully insured and Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) cleared.
