Person Centred Counsellor
Perhaps you are feeling lost and disconnected from yourself, your loved ones or the world around you. Maybe you are unsure whether your problems are "serious enough" for therapy or don't know how to describe what you're going through. I want to offer you genuine empathy, compassion, and confidential space to figure that out together.
Counselling is a collaborative process; we work together to understand what you're going through. You can get to know yourself better and cultivate deeper self-awareness and acceptance. Unlike talking to friends and family, talking to a trained professional gives you greater freedom to reflect and find the right narrative that describes how you feel. It can be an opportunity to reconnect to your authentic self and think about how you want to move forward.
I believe that a greater sense of peace and freedom comes from the continuous process of self-discovering.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and I offer Person-Centred Counselling in both English and Cantonese. I have many years of experience in the voluntary sector providing support to marginalised individuals, asylum seekers, single parents, survivors of hate crimes or domestic violence, etc. and supporting people from diverse backgrounds and heritage.
I offer a free 20 minutes telephone/online consultation, so you can get a feel of whether you can work with me and if counselling is something for you.
