Person Centred Counsellor & Psychodrama Psychotherapist
I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer, dual trained in Person-centred Counselling and Psychodrama Psychotherapy.
Together with my clients and supervisees, I aim to offer and co-create unique relationships within a creative space, where individuals can bring all of themselves, and go beyond words in the expression of their experience.
I believe that the individuals I work with are the experts of their lived experience. I bring my skills, knowledge and 10 years experience of working with a diverse range of clients and client issues, including complex trauma, to support them in their ongoing process and journey. Using creative action methods individuals will be offered the opportunity to look at situations from the past, present and future, and to express themselves and their emotions, safely and in confidence.
I offer both individual and group daytime sessions in private practice, which I established in 2011. I prefer meeting face to face but offer online sessions where appropriate. I work with adults, children and young people.
I have held employed positions for the Children and Young People’s Team at Glasgow Women’s Aid, with the refugee and asylum seeking community at Freedom from Torture, and for Barnardos’ Trauma Bereavement and Loss service within HMP & YOI Polmont.
I am a trainer with the Northern School of Psychodrama, and Glasgow Council on Alcohol’s Integrative Psychotherapy Diploma.
