Person Centred Psychotherapist
I have a Masters Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Pyschotherapy). I offer both short term counselling (4 to 6 sessions) to explore specific issues and areas of stuckness, and longer term psychotherapy for those who would like to explore more widely or deeply.
I have a particular interest in working with people with low self-esteem, that struggle in their relationships – unsure about when it’s okay to say no to requests from people, and fearful of the potential consequences. This can be particularly acute for people in recovery from addiction – it can be excruciating to navigate feelings and relationships, without using the addictive substance/behaviour to numb out the pain.
As I believe that the client-therapist relationship is of utmost importance, I offer the first session half price so that you can decide whether it feels like we might be able to work together.
